National Poetry Day 2017
“Red Room Poetry Object is a selection of workshops, linked to an Australasian poetry competition, that invites students (Years 3-10) and their teachers to write poems inspired by their special and curious objects.
“In these unique workshops, students will be guided by celebrated Filipino-Australian poet Ivy Alvarez as they investigate the mysteries of their objects. Drawing on personal and re-imagined stories, students will use poetry as a tool to explore the universe of hidden histories within their treasured belongings.”
